SAFETY FIRST

At INTECH, safety is more than a job requirement; it is an integral part of our corporate culture. Our focus on job safety starts and ends with each and every one of our employees.

Our unique program is designed to empower all of our employees and to assign them an active role in sustaining and improving safety, with the goal of eliminating all accidents from our projects.

What truly sets INTECH apart from the competition is our unyielding dedication to our Safety program. Not only do we make it everyone's job to promote a safe workplace ... but we employ individuals who "work the program" every day.

INTECH SAFETY PROGRAM

INTECH is proud of a safety program that is often used as a model by others due to its depth, its adherence to a strict protocol, and most importantly, its success.

Under the guidance of INTECH’s Corporate Safety Director, Jim Ryan, a site-specific safety program is developed for each project. A program manual is created for the workforce, and on the first day a project starts, a copy of the manual is provided to every individual assigned to the project. Visitors to INTECH project sites – subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, and guests – are all required to adhere to the safety policies as established. We allow no exceptions.

TRAINING

INTECH's program includes ongoing safety training for its workforce to ensure OSHA compliance and to regulate enforcement. Quality in Service sessions take place throughout the year for project superintendents to cover topics such as tools, electrical hazards, scaffold, fire protection/prevention, rigging, crane safety, and fall protection.

All INTECH superintendents and foremen are 30-Hour OSHA and CPR/AED/First Aid certified. In addition, all INTECH project managers are also 30-Hour OSHA trained.
